Join Semper Fit for an exciting 7K trail run around Lake O'Neill and surrounding trails to challenge yourself as you complete various obstacles and navigate mud pits. Units may submit a 4-person team for the Super Squad Team Challenge or run as an individual.

ENTRY FEE
The CG's Cup Chesty Challenge™ is free and only for MCI-WEST Active Duty (no civilians).

ATTIRE
Appropriate civilian athletic wear.

Register online to secure your preferred wave time.

Day of registration will be taken for later waves if space is available. CG's participation points will be given at this event up to 10 team and/or individual entries. Units may send as many people out to this event. No placement points will be given for this event.

The Camp Pendleton Athletics Department provides adult league opportunities open to Active Duty, DoD, MCCS, retirees, and dependents who are over 18 years of age. A valid military ID is required to participate. Adult leagues are fee-based and typically run for 8 weeks.

SOFTBALL
This is a fun recreational league that is open to Active Duty, DoD, MCCS, Retirees, and Dependents over 18 years of age with a valid military ID card and who are stationed or work aboard Camp Pendleton.

League Fees: $255 per team. Payment must be collected before a team is entered into the league. 
Deadline for payment is Mar 18. League is limited to 20 teams.
10-on-10 players on the field.
League will last 8 weeks.
Games will be held at the 14 Area Softball Fields on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Mandatory coaches meeting: Feb 13 at 10am at Semper Fit HQ BLDG 1253.

League begins March 26.

This is a fun recreational league that is open to Active Duty, DoD, MCCS, Retirees, and Dependents over 18 years of age with a valid military ID card and who are stationed or work aboard Camp Pendleton.

League Fees: $400 per team. Payment must be collected before a team is entered into the league. 
Deadline for payment is May 23. League is limited to 8 teams.
11-on-11 players on the field; max of 20 players per night.
League length is dependent on team entries.
Games will be played at 11 Area Turf Field.
Mandatory coaches meeting: May 28 at 10am at Semper Fit HQ BLDG 1253.

League begins June 4.

This is a fun recreational league that is open to Active Duty, DoD, MCCS, Retirees, and Dependents over 18 years of age with a valid military ID card and who are stationed or work aboard Camp Pendleton.

League Fees: $300 per team. Payment must be collected before a team is entered into the league. 
Deadline for payment is May 23. League is limited to 10 teams.
5-on-5 players on the field; max of 12 players on a team per night.
League length is dependent on team entries.
Games will be played at Paige Field House.
Mandatory coaches meeting: May 28 at 10:30am at Semper Fit HQ BLDG 1253.

League begins June 4.

FLAG FOOTBALL
This is a fun recreational league that is open to Active Duty, DoD, MCCS, Retirees, and Dependents over 18 years of age with a valid military ID card and who are stationed or work aboard Camp Pendleton.

League Fees: $250 per team. Payment must be collected before a team is entered into the league. 
Deadline for payment is August 8. League is limited to 7 teams.
7-on-7 players on the field; max of 14 players on a team per night.
League will last between 6-8 weeks depending on the number of teams. 
Games will be held at the 11 Area Football Field on Tuesdays starting at 5:30pm.
Mandatory coaches meeting: July 30 at 10am at Semper Fit HQ BLDG 1253.

League begins August 20.

Do you want to be Camp Pendleton's Male and Female Marine Athlete of the Year? Athletes can be of any level from recreational, state, national, and international levels of sport or athletic accomplishment. All accomplishments are to be from calendar year 2024.

Camp Pendleton male and female winners will receive:

  • Prestigious trophy presented by the Commanding General of MCI West, MCB Camp Pendleton
  • Their application will be sent to HQMC for consideration for the Marine Corps Male and Female Athlete of the Year award
  • May receive a feature article to be published on DVIDS

If winner of the Marine Corps Male and Female Athlete of the Year, athletes will receive:

  • A prestigious trophy presented by the Commandant of the Marine Corps 
  • Navy Achievement Medal for Enlisted Marines 
  • Certificate of Commendation for Officers
  • May receive a feature article to be published on DVIDS
  • Runners-up may receive a Letter of Appreciation for their impact and effort in sport

Please submit the "Athlete of the Year" application to cpathletics.usmc-mccs.org no later than December 6.

The Camp Pendleton Athletics Department supports a diverse varsity sports program providing active duty athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level. Teams are comprised of the best active duty players aboard Camp Pendleton. Teams will compete against varsity teams from other bases, colleges, law enforcement agencies, or any other approved tournaments or competitions. Individuals may request to attend a tryout camp (if offered) or submit a resume outlining their experience and accomplishments in the subject sport if a tryout camp is not available. Camp Pendleton currently has varsity teams for the following sports:

 

  • Men's Soccer
  • Men's Basketball
  • Men's Softball

The Camp Pendleton Athletics Department provides active duty service members stationed aboard Camp Pendleton a diverse, competitive sports program to include Commanding Generals Cup, adult leagues, special events, and varsity sports.

Commanding General’s Cup

The Commanding Generals Cup program offers free competitive events throughout the year for active duty personnel stationed aboard Camp Pendleton.

  • Commanding General’s Cup activities are offered only to active duty personnel stationed aboard Camp Pendleton.
  • All Commanding General’s Cup events are FREE to active duty personnel.
  • Awards presentations follow the completion of the event.
  • Earn points for competing in events.
  • Top three units in each division will win a cash prize at the end of the year.

League Fees: $240 per team. Payment must be collected before a team is entered into the league. 
Deadline for payment is Jan 22. League is limited to 10 teams.
6-on-6 players on the court.
League will last between 6-8 weeks depending on number of teams.
Games will be held at the Paige Field House Competition Gym every Monday starting at 5pm.
Mandatory coaches meeting: Jan 18 at 10am at Semper Fit HQ BLDG 1253.

League begins January 29.
