The All-Marine Softball Program is proud to announce the selection of two leaders who will guide the next generation of Marine athletes toward excellence—1stSgt Justin Nail, a Senior Enlisted Advisor with Headquarters Battalion, and Mr. William Leidig, an Assistant Regional Fuels Officer for the Department of Defense. 

With a deep understanding of the Marine Corps ethos and a passion for competitive excellence, these coaches bring with them a shared vision of determination, discipline, and teamwork. Their leadership marks a new chapter for All-Marine Softball—one that blends high-performance training with the values that define what it means to be a Marine. 

1stSgt Justin Nail: Building Unity, Embracing the Grind 

With an approach grounded in structure, focus, and grit, 1stSgt Nail’s philosophy centers on creating a culture of accountability and excellence—both on and off the field. His vision is clear: every player plays a role in the team’s success, and each practice is an opportunity to improve. His leadership is a call to action for Marines to give their all, push their limits, and pursue victory with pride and precision. 

Mr. William Leidig: Leading with Vision and Legacy 

Mr. Leidig’s leadership brings a long-term vision to the program—one that emphasizes player development, enduring team success, and a relentless commitment to winning the gold. His mission is about building a legacy: one rooted in honor, preparation, and the fighting spirit of the Marine Corps. With his guidance, Marines will not only rise as athletes but as leaders in the community and beyond. 

As they take the helm, 1stSgt Nail and Mr. Leidig aim to strengthen the All-Marine Softball Program as a symbol of Marine Corps pride, excellence, and unity. Their mission is to inspire every Marine athlete to embody the core values of the Corps—honor, courage, and commitment—while chasing greatness on the field.
