We're looking for one special military family to flip the switch on Saturday, November 23 at the Tree Lighting Celebration!

Register your family for an opportunity to light the holiday tree at the 2024 MCX Tree Lighting Celebration on November 23. The last day to enter is Wednesday, November 13, 2024 midnight. The winner will be notified via email/phone on Monday, November 18.

Must be Active Duty aboard Camp Pendleton to enter.

FAQs

Who is qualified for a Chance to win during the event?

All active duty, retired, and reserve military personnel, and their dependent family members over 18 years old.
Identification required.

Where can I enter for a chance to win at the event?

The only place to enter for a chance to win any giveaway will be online until midnight on November 22.

Where do I go if I lose my child?

Please educate your children to go to the customer service booth if they get lost.

Is handicapped parking available?

Yes. Traffic guards will direct handicapped patrons with the appropriate placards to parking areas at the Pacific Views MCX parking lot.

Can I bring outside food or drink?

Yes. Food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the venue and MCX. Children will receive Elf packs with assorted snacks.

Can I bring my pets?

Only service dogs are permitted.

Where is the parking for the event?

Parking for the event is located at the Naval Hospital. Trams will be available from 2pm-9pm to take you to and from the event.

Can I bring a shopping cart into the venue area?

Shopping carts are not allowed in the venue area. However, they are available for shopping inside the Pacific Views MCX.

Is there a designated smoking area?

Smoking is not permitted inside the barricaded venue area.

Will there be restrooms available?

Venue restrooms will be available at the east end of the Pacific Views MCX Parking Lot.

What family activities are available?

  • Santa & Mrs. Claus – Bring your camera and take your picture from 5pm-8pm!
  • Play in the snow!
  • Free Carnival Games
  • Face Painter
  • Strolling Carolers
  • Elf packs with assorted snacks for kids

What are the hours of the event?

5pm-8pm. Please arrive early for the best available parking. Overflow parking will be available at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.

Trams will be available from 2pm-9pm to take you to and from the event.

How often will the trams run for the parking areas?

Trams will be available every 15 minutes from 2pm-9pm to take you to and from the event. Tram pick-up and drop-off locations will be the North Parking Lot at the Naval Hospital and the Pacific Views MCX Parking Lot.
