Upcoming Events

The Single Marine Program (SMP) enhances the quality of life for single, active duty personnel by providing positive and rewarding outlets through recreation and community involvement.

Quality of Life Advocacy
Base-wide meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 9am at various facilities across the installation. MCAS Camp Pendleton meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at noon aboard the air station.  Please contact (760) 725-6288 for locations.

Community Involvement
Volunteer opportunities include:

  • camp cleanups
  • Stepp Stables
  • beach cleanups
  • elementary school P.E. fitness challenges
  • and veterans and retirement home visits

Recreation Trips and Events 
One-day and weekend trips offered include:

  • amusement parks
  • beach days
  • museums
  • hiking
  • skiing
  • white water rafting
  • camping at the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park

Trips depart on Friday mornings and return on Sunday evenings. Price is based on trip costs and includes transportation and lodging. Please call (760) 725-6288 or email pensmp@usmc-mccs.org for more information or to sign up.
