The Command Financial Specialist (CFS) serves as the primary advisor for the command on policies and issues related to personal finance. Eligible candidates are nominated by their command and attend training provided by the installation's Personal Financial Managers (PFMs). The CFS and PFMs collaborate to offer individual counseling and host ongoing financial workshops for Marines, Sailors, and their families.

Eligibility Requirements

• E6 and above—Enlisted and Officers

• Must have at least one year remaining with the current command

• Must be financially stable
