KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Beach hours are 6am-10pm. 
  • No glass bottles, glass Tupperware/containers, kegs, pets (except service animals), tailgating, drones, or large or charcoal grills are permitted.
  • Small gas grills are permitted. 
  • Only small tents with open walls are allowed. Tents will not be allowed east of the blue umbrellas.
  • Lifeguards and first aid will be available.
  • Parking will be available in designated areas only. View the parking map for designated parking areas. Parking attendants will be onsite to assist and direct.
  • No loading/unloading zones or tram service will be available. Use of wagons or similar equipment is strongly encouraged.
  • Be sure to not leave your belongings unattended or set up belongings in the high tide zone.
  • Bring plenty of water.
  • Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
  • Swim near a lifeguard.
  • Review beach safety rules before heading to the beach.
  • Civilians are allowed with authorized patrons. Please check for base access requirements.
  • Stay safe, have fun, and enjoy the fireworks!

  • No overnight parking in undesignated lots. Unauthorized vehicles will be subject to tow. Towed vehicles can be found in the Alpha parking lot off of 12th Street.
  • Barracks parking is not authorized. 
  • Accessible parking will be along 9th Street next to the boat basin. Placard holder must be present in the vehicle with a corresponding ID. Spaces are limited.

Beach Services will be operating at the regular business hours of 9am-5pm.

The Del Mar Marine Mart will be open Saturday, August 2: 9am-8pm.

When is the Family Fun Zone open?

The Family Fun Zone will be open Saturday, August 2: 11am-4pm.

When are the fireworks?

Fireworks will begin at 8:30pm on Saturday, August 2.

Where do I park?

View the parking map for designated parking areas. Parking attendants will be onsite to assist. No loading/unloading permitted. Unauthorized vehicles will be subject to tow. 

Towed vehicles can be found in the Alpha parking lot off of 12th Street. See map for details.
