In this class, you will build and decorate Kimekomi dolls. Kimekomi dolls date back to the first half of the 18th century and are believed to have originated in Kyoto, Japan. The art of making these dolls quickly became a favorite pastime for many Japanese craftsmen and women, and the craft is still commonly practiced today. Originally, Kimekomi dolls were constructed from wood and scraps of fabric, but they are now typically formed out of clay and decorated with beautiful kimonos.

For ages 10 and older. Parents must accompany children ages 10-15.

 $60.00 for 4 sessions.

Fridays 10 a.m.–12 p.m.

Sign-up and place payment 1-week in advance.
